Requestor Library material located in URSUS or MaineCat may be requested and sent to your home library for pickup at the circulation desk. A valid University Library card is required. Requests for such material may be made through URSUS or Maine Info Net. Please contact Access Services staff for assistance if you have trouble locating material.
Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)
Circulating materials not found or not available through URSUS or MaineCat and articles not available at USM (Glickman Library, Gorham Library, or Law Library) may be requested through ILLiad.
First time users must create an ILLiad account using the registration form.
Please do NOT request textbooks. Interlibrary Loan is for immediate short term use and should not be used as a substitute for purchasing textbooks. Most textbooks are updated frequently and are therefore not purchased for libraries. Furthermore, loans are subject at any time to recall by the lending library.
