Food and Drink Policy for Library Patrons

1. Food is not allowed in the library, except in designated areas during scheduled social events or in the designated Cafe areas.
2. The consumption of beverages (covered containers are preferred) is allowed at desks, carrels, tables, and reading areas--never among the book and periodicals shelves or near computers, photocopiers and other equipment.
3. Food and beverages are prohibited entirely in the Osher Map Library and Archives/Special Collections Department.
