New Look At Gorham Library!

Big Changes occurred to the Gorham Campus Library over break with the rearrangement of the first floor and the addition of a group study room on the second floor. Library staff completely rearranged the first floor to create a more inviting and open space. Periodical and reference shelving were moved to the inner walls and the reference/student computers were relocated towards the middle of the floor. The changes allow light from the windows to fill the more open spaces. These changes set the stage for the transition to an information commons in the Gorham Library. Additionally a newly refurbished group study room/seminar room is now available on the 2nd floor of the library. Future plans for additional comfortable seating in student areas, additional technology, new services and more collaborative work areas.
