Decisions or Cases and the Topical Index are the most needed parts of the resource for our students. Students are often asked to look at particular cases that support a certain topic. Hence the Topical Index shows the student the proper keywords to use, or which area to click to get the types of cases they want.

A very useful way to search for a topic is to use the "What do I do when. . . The Answer Book on___________" series. Found next to the Special Education print volumes. From general to specific these books take a look at the very hot topics in Special Education, and give cases to back up there assertions. These cases can then be found in the print volumes under the first part of the citation which is also the volume number in this case "43" in 43 IDELR 49 or whatever the number of the case is.

Of course do not hesitate to ask questions!
