    This index lists long-term projects and programs that are systematically monitoring or assessing environmental factors in Maine, from breeding amphibians to ozone, weather and water quality. It includes information about each project such as the resource being monitored, the watershed in which monitoring occurs, the geographic scope of the project, the year it was started, monitoring objectives, basic sampling plan, whether or not volunteers participate, and who to contact for data, findings, or more information.
