 Introduction

We live in the "Information Age" and having the skills to find information rapidly and efficiently will prove very useful to you. Using a library can be key to this and can easily give you an advantage when planning your career, job searching, etc.

Imagine, for example, you're about to go into a job interview and you've been able to find a lot of information about the company or organization prior to your interview. And imagine someone else being interviewed has found nothing...YOU will have the advantage!

This "course guide" will provide you with a lot of handy links to online sources of information, books that relate to careers and career planning, and places to find up to date articles on any topic under the sun.

 Reference Sources

These are places where you can find a handy summary of a topic. An encyclopedia, for example, gives you a useful overview of a topic when you know little about it. Reference sources can be real time savers.
