URSUS, the online catalog, provides access to books and other materials held at USM and in the University of Maine System.

Academic Search Premier (dates vary by resource)
Articles from magazines, newspapers and journals with some full-text.

Newspapers (Proquest)
Full text of more than 500 U.S. and international news sources. Includes The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, and the Times of London, plus hundreds of other news sources and news wires. Years of coverage vary by title. Maine papers included: Bangor Daily News (1992+), Portland Press Herald (1995+), and selected business coverage from Maine Times (1994-2002) and Central Maine Morning Sentinel (1993-1997).

Art Index and Art Index Retropective (1929-present)
Indexes articles about art, architecture, archaeology, crafts, design, museology, photography, television and textiles, in addition to all aspects of art including graphic, folk, and decorative, from periodicals published throughout the world.

Humanities International Index
Collection of bibliographic references to literary, scholarly and creative journals, many of which cannot be found in other reference works.
